A quiet firm for ambitious enterprises.
GSSK & Co. is a partner-led chartered accountancy firm. For more than two decades we have advised founders, boards, promoters and finance leaders on the questions that define an enterprise — how it is audited, how it is taxed, how it is governed, and how it is built to last.
Institutional discipline. Boutique attention.
We began in 2001 with a simple belief — that Indian enterprises deserved a firm that combined the technical rigour of the largest global networks with the accountability of a partner-led practice. Two decades later, that belief still defines how we work.
Our clients range from family-run manufacturing groups and listed companies to venture-backed technology businesses and Indian arms of multinational parents. What connects them is a shared expectation — that the firm signing their financial statements takes that responsibility personally.
Today we operate from our office in Dwarka, New Delhi, with 12 partners, over 90 professionals, and mandates spanning statutory audit, taxation, corporate law, forensic services and transaction advisory.
Around 60% of our clients have been with us for more than seven years. A meaningful number have been with us for the full duration of our practice. That continuity is neither an accident nor a marketing statistic — it is the direct result of a working model that puts a named partner on every mandate and holds them accountable for it.
We are deliberately unlisted, deliberately unbranded and deliberately quiet. Our growth has come almost entirely from client referrals, promoter introductions and the recommendations of former colleagues. We would like to keep it that way.
To be the firm Indian enterprises turn to when the question is hard.
We exist to give founders, boards and finance leaders a professional partner whose judgement they can rely on — through audits, through litigation, through transactions, and through the ordinary questions of building a business the right way. Not the loudest firm; the one people call when it matters.
A hundred-year partnership, built one mandate at a time.
We are building an institution meant to outlast any single partner — a firm where the standards, the working papers, the training and the client relationships belong to the partnership, not to individuals. Scale is a means to that end, never the point of it.
Four principles that shape every engagement.
Integrity above all
Independence and objectivity are the foundation of every engagement. Our opinions are never for sale.
Partner attention
Every mandate is led by a signing partner. Clients speak to decision-makers, not layers of intermediaries.
Technical depth
Continuous investment in specialist knowledge across Ind-AS, GST, transfer pricing and forensic domains.
Long horizons
We build relationships that span decades — through IPOs, restructurings, generational transitions and regulatory shifts.
Six things we will not compromise on.
The signing partner is the working partner
At most firms, the partner who signs the report is not the partner who ran the engagement. At GSSK the two are always the same person — you speak to the professional whose name is on the opinion, from planning through sign-off.
One firm, not a federation
We operate as a single partnership with a single P&L. There are no siloed offices competing for the same client and no artificial handoffs. Audit, tax and advisory partners staff every mandate as one team.
Deliberate scale
We have grown carefully — twelve partners, roughly ninety professionals — because scale beyond a point erodes quality of judgement. We add capacity only where the partnership can personally supervise it.
Investment in institution, not individuals
Working papers, methodologies, technical libraries and training curricula are shared assets of the firm. A partner leaving would not take the institutional memory of your business with them.
Regulator-ready by default
Every audit file is built to withstand ICAI peer review, NFRA inspection, tax scrutiny or diligence review — without last-minute rework. We do not clean files after the fact.
Written where speech would do
Positions, opinions and audit conclusions are documented contemporaneously in memos a stranger can read five years later. It is slower today and cheaper for every year after.
How the firm is governed.
A partnership only holds together if its governance is written down and followed. Ours is deliberately unglamorous — committees, review cycles, independence registers and quality control processes that keep the firm honest.
Executive Committee
A four-partner rotating committee responsible for practice management, resource allocation, quality control and firm-wide investments. Meets fortnightly, minuted and reviewed by all partners each quarter.
Independence & Ethics
A dedicated ethics partner maintains firm-wide independence registers, oversees conflict checks at client acceptance, and reviews non-audit services for every audit client each quarter.
Technical & Risk Panel
A panel of senior partners reviews significant technical positions, first-time accounting matters, modified audit opinions and complex tax opinions before they are issued to the client.
Quality Review
Every high-risk audit engagement goes through an Engagement Quality Control Review by a partner not on the engagement, in line with SQC 1 and ICAI peer-review standards.
